A distant star has been watching a blue-green planet turn, circle, rise, set, and change through vast eternities.

The distant star is old, seeing the Earth since her birth 4.5 billion years ago. The miraculous Earth has lived unfathomable lives through her existence. She has been molten, clouded, gaseous, frozen, and now in her current incarnation: blue-green and teeming with life. She has seen many changes and transformations. What will she be next?

Brightdarkdawn is songwriter/composer Anne Carol Mitchell. With intricate guitar and nature-based lyrics, the music brings listeners more beautifully into narratives of Earth’s deep time.
